Dr Paula Berdoukas

Dr Paula Berdoukas is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a special interest in cataract surgery and medical retina. She provides expert care for patients with age-related macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, retinal vein occlusions and other retinal conditions, including retinal laser and intravitreal injection treatments.
Dr Margaret Kearns

Dr Kearns is a founding surgeon at Focus and specialises in medical retina and diabetic eye disease, with a particular focus on the long-term management of conditions affecting central vision.

A.Prof Petsoglou is a cornea and anterior segment specialist, also practising in cataract, refractive, oculoplastic and paediatric ophthalmology. He is one of Australia’s most widely published cornea surgeons, with an extensive body of peer-reviewed research, and remains active in ophthalmic education, mentoring and international outreach.

A consulting ophthalmologist and founding surgeon with Focus. Dr Smith has extensive experience across the full breadth of ophthalmic care, and is known for his thorough, patient-first approach to diagnosis and treatment.
Dr Matthew Wells
FRANZCO, MMed, MBBS, BOptom (Hons)
Matthew is a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist who has expertise in the diagnosis and management of Cataracts and Glaucoma. He is passionate about education and awareness of preventable blindness for conditions such as Glaucoma.
We examine patients who range in age from young students to the elderly, with varied pathologies. The most satisfying outcome is preserving or making their vision better.
We combine our experience with a sincere commitment to provide you with the best advice and best possible outcome.
Vision is a precious gift and a very practical consideration, we take the responsibility for our patients very seriously.
